Acting Classes
At MBPA, we believe acting is more than memorizing lines — it is about building confidence, creativity, communication skills, and the ability to connect with others. Our acting classes provide young performers with the tools to grow as artists while developing skills that extend far beyond the stage.
Acting Foundations
Ages 6-9
Designed for young performers who are beginning their acting journey, Acting Foundations introduces students to the essential skills needed to become confident, creative, and expressive performers.
Through theater games, improvisation, character development, storytelling, and scene work, students will explore how actors use their voices, bodies, and imaginations to bring characters to life. This class builds a strong foundation in acting technique while encouraging confidence, collaboration, and a lifelong love of performing.
Young Actors Studio
Ages 10+
Young Actors Studio is designed for developing performers who want to strengthen their acting skills and take their craft to the next level.
Students will explore scene study, character development, script analysis, monologues, audition techniques, and performance skills while learning how to make thoughtful and authentic choices as actors. This class provides a supportive environment for young performers to grow their confidence, creativity, and artistry both onstage and beyond.

Who are the classes for?
Our acting classes are open to kids ages 6 and up, with no prior experience required. Whether your child dreams of being on stage or just loves to pretend, this is the perfect class for them to explore their interests and stretch their imagination.
Build Confidence on Stage
Through performance exercises, storytelling games, and partner work, students learn to speak clearly, listen actively, and feel comfortable performing in front of others.
Create and Perform
At the end of each session, students will participate in a live mini-performance for family and friends, showcasing the skills they’ve gained in a fun, low-pressure setting.
Develop Emotional Expression
Acting helps kids explore emotions in a safe, creative way. Students learn to express themselves using body language, facial expressions, and vocal techniques, building the foundations of compelling character work.
