These are the teachers leading our Company Classes, Acting Classes, MainStage, and teaching private lessons. MBPA employs industry professionals with years of experience in theater, acting, opera, and musical theater. Learn more about them below.

Ms. Kelly

Kelly O’Shea is a singer, dancer, and actress from Los Angeles with a BFA and a Master’s Degree in Vocal Performance. She is an active performer in opera, musical theater, and as a gig and band vocalist. Her notable credits include performing at Carnegie Hall in New York City, making her international debut in Italy with Varna International, and appearing with Palm Beach Opera. She will be a Resident Young Artist for Ohio Light Opera in Summer 2026 performing in five musicals over the season. Known for her natural gift for teaching, Kelly is a highly-sought after teacher with over 10 years experience specializing in advanced vocal training and serves as the producer and artistic director of MBPA’s MainStage musicals. Kelly believes that bringing performing arts to the community and working with future performers is one of her greatest passions next to performing herself. Ms Kelly teaches advanced voice lessons, which require an application to determine readiness.

Mr Alberto

Alberto L Blanco is an actor/singer/dancer native to Miami with a BM in Musical Theatre from the Florida State University College of Music and School of Theatre. He is also an active Musical Theatre, Acting, Dance, and Classical Counter Tenor performer. Albertos performance experience ranges from Classical Opera works to feature film musicals to national tours to television commercials. With the experience gained from traveling the country for contracts, Alberto educates and coaches from the private level to the large group level. Apart from a private studio that works with students of all ages, including adult theatre professionals on National Broadway Tours, Alberto worked with “Inside Broadway” in New York City. With this city grant based educational program, he was able to bring Theatre and Dance education to students all over the city. He is so excited to bring everything he has learned from the industry back home to Miami.

Ms Cassidy

Cassidy Holmes is a soprano from Virginia. She graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree in 2025 from Shenandoah Conservatory where she was awarded the Cecilia Award for Vocal Excellence. She is currently pursing a Master’s degree in Vocal Performance from the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami. Her most notable credits include being one of twelve national semi finalists in the National Teachers Association of Singing competition (NATS) and making her debut at Frost Opera Theatre as Cathleen in Ralph Vaughan William's Riders to the Sea. Cassidy is excited to share her passion for music and her expertise with the next generation of performers.

Ms Diana

Diana Landa was born in Venezuela and after moving to the U.S., she joined the Southwest Florida Symphony and honed her craft at the Center for the Arts until her talent earned her a scholarship to the University of Central Florida, where she continued to hone her craft in singing, acting, and dance. Today, Diana is a rising star in the Latin and Pop music industry collaborating with top artists and music producers in the Miami area. Diana’s extensive experience as a singer, pianist, songwriter, and recording artist makes her a perfect fit for any student interested in music production.

Ms Isabelle

Isabel Breakey is a soprano and a New Hampshire native. She recently graduated with her Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami and received her Bachelor of Music degree in Voice Performance with an education minor from Oberlin Conservatory. As an educator, she has expertise in wide variety of genres, such as classical, musical theater, pop, and piano instruction. In addition to teaching at MBPA, she is an adjunct voice professor for Florida Atlantic University. She has received awards for her excellence in vocal performance and pedagogy and cannot wait to work with the next generation of performers at MB Performing Arts.
