Company Classes

At MB Performing Arts, our theater classes are divided into Companies by age group. As students grow and build their skills, they advance to the next Company level. Each Company works on age-appropriate material while learning foundational and advanced techniques through guided performance training. We have classes for all ages and a special class for our advanced teens.

What are Theater Arts Classes?

Theater arts classes combine the three pillars of performance—acting, singing, and movement—into a dynamic, skill-building experience for kids. Unlike traditional drama classes that focus solely on acting, our program gives students the tools to become confident, well-rounded performers. Whether your child dreams of Broadway or just wants a place to express themselves, our theater arts classes nurture creativity, discipline, and self-esteem.

What Students Will Learn?

Every student, no matter their age or experience level, receives training in:

Broadway Babies: Mommy & Me (Ages 1.5-3 with caregiver)

A joyful introduction to music and musical theater through singing, movement, rhythm, imaginative play, and age-appropriate musical activities. Each class encourages creativity, connection, and a love of music while giving children and their caregivers a special experience to share together.

Little Stars Company (Ages 3-5)

Young performers will explore the world of theater through creative play, movement, and musical storytelling. This class builds confidence, imagination, and social skills in a joyful environment while learning the foundations of vocal technique, acting, and movement. No experience needed—just curiosity and enthusiasm!

Fall showcase - Moana JR

Junior Company (Ages 6–8)

Students begin developing their stage presence through structured activities in acting, singing, and ensemble work. Classes include performance games, beginner vocal exercises, and short scenes to introduce character and story development.

Fall showcase - Descendants The Musical

Star Company (Ages 9- 11)

Star Company is the perfect class for performers to continue to build confidence, creativity, and stage skills. Students will dive into the fundamentals of musical theater—singing, acting, and dancing—through age-appropriate scenes and songs from popular musicals. Perfect for kids who love to shine on stage or are just beginning their performing arts journey!

(Ages 12+)
