Performing Arts!
We are so excited to officially introduce Miami Beach Performing Arts—the next chapter of the performing arts programs our families have known and loved through K.O. Performing Arts.
Our new name reflects how much our programs have grown and our continued commitment to providing high-quality training in acting, singing, dance, musical theater, and performance.
While our name is changing, the heart of our program remains the same: creating a warm and encouraging place where young performers can build their skills, confidence, creativity, and lifelong love of the arts.
important fall 2026 registration update!
Registration for the Fall 2026 term will open as soon as we finalize a few details related to new City of Miami Beach guidelines. We look forward to sharing registration information very soon!

Fall 2026 Programs
Broadway Babies: Mommy & Me
Ages 2–3 with a caregiver
A joyful introduction to music and musical theater through singing, movement, rhythm, imaginative play, and age-appropriate musical activities. Each class encourages creativity, connection, and a love of music while giving children and their caregivers a special experience to share together.
Little Stars
Ages 4-5
A playful and encouraging introduction to musical theater created especially for young performers. Students explore singing, acting, movement, storytelling, and music basics while developing confidence, creativity, and classroom independence. Students work toward an end-of-semester performance on songs and scene from Moana The Musical. This is a drop-off class.
Junior Company
Ages 6-8
Young performers build foundational skills in acting, singing, and dance while rehearsing musical theater material designed for their age group. The class emphasizes confidence, teamwork, character development, and the joy of performing. Students work toward an end-of-semester performance with songs and scenes from Descendants: The Musical.
Star Company
Ages 9-11
A musical theater performance class for students ready to strengthen their skills in acting, singing, dance, and stage presence. Students work with more advanced material while developing confidence, collaboration, and well-rounded performance technique. Students work toward an end-of-semester performance with songs and scenes from Matilda.
Acting I: Fundementals
Ages 6-9
An introduction to theater and acting technique through creative exercises, scene work, character development, improvisation, and ensemble activities. Students build confidence, imagination, communication skills, and stage presence.
Acting II: Young Actors Studio
Ages 10+
A more advanced acting class focused on character development, scene study, storytelling, improvisation, and performance technique. Students deepen their acting skills while learning to make thoughtful and confident choices onstage.
Teen Performance Group
Ages 12+
An elevated performance ensemble created especially for teen artists. Students explore vocal training, harmony, a cappella music, musical theater, and a variety of performance styles. The group will also work toward fun community performance opportunities, which may include local events and special appearances.
MainStage Musical
Ages 7-14
MBPA’s full-scale musical production experience for young performers ready to take on a larger theatrical commitment. Students receive focused training in acting, singing, dance, rehearsal technique, collaboration, and live performance. The MainStage program culminates in a major public production at one of Miami Beach’s professional performance venues, the Miami Beach Bandshell.
Private Lessons
Voice, piano, acting, songwriting, and performance coaching.
Private lessons provide individualized training based on each student’s goals and experience level. Students may work on technique, confidence, repertoire, auditions, school performances, musical theater material, or personal artistic development.
Lessons are available in 30-minute and 60-minute recurring weekly time slots, depending on the instructor and subject.
Advanced Voice Program
with Founder of MBPA Ms. Kelly
A focused training program for dedicated vocal students seeking a higher level of artistic and technical development. The program combines individualized vocal instruction, performance coaching, studio classes, audition preparation, and recital opportunities. The program includes a weekly 45 minute lesson with Ms. Kelly and a monthly studio class in a masterclass format where family and friends are invited to attend.
